Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the International League Outstanding Hitter Award.
Arias hit for a .300 average while collecting 151 hits, 15 doubles, 2 triples, 47 home runs, 106 RBIs and scoring 111 times. |

Friday, September 28th, 2012: P.J. Walters of the Norfolk Tides was on cloud nine during the 2012 season, mystifying most of the hitters he faced, then capping it off with the International League Outstanding Pitcher Award.
Walters was spectacular in 29 starting assignments with 17 wins and 5 losses, 191 innings, 182 strikeouts and a fine 3.68 ERA. |
